"Blue" is the first of three color-themed EP releases leading up to Oh Malô's debut album. It is an anguished exploration of denial, internal conflict, and emotional hardship. "Blue" was written in an environment of solitude and is meant to challenge one’s psyche and perception of reality. Moments of both calm serenity and intense anxiety are created through a constant juxtaposition between intimate ambience and panicky grit.
"Red" is the second of three color-themed EP releases leading up to Oh Malô's debut album. It toys with themes in the realm of anger and aggression. It is rougher around the edges than "Blue" and exposes the frustration and impatience that inspired parts of the upcoming record.
"Orange" is the third and final color-themed EP release from Oh Malô. It is deceptively upbeat and happy musically, yet expresses a very melancholic and reflective tone lyrically. It is meant to be ironic, light, and even uplifting. Orange is also meant to sound and feel completely opposite to Blue, a sign hopefulness and closure.
